How do I top up a hafilat card on busontop?
Open the recharge form on the homepage, type the 10-digit hafilat card number, choose the card category, pick an amount from AED 5 to AED 500, then confirm. No app or account is needed.
How long does a bus card recharge take to appear?
Most top-ups are ready within a few minutes. The card updates the next time it is tapped at a bus reader in Abu Dhabi.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Visa and Mastercard issued in the UAE. We do not handle cash or bank transfer on this site.
What are the fees and limits?
Each bus card recharge is between AED 5 and AED 500, in AED only. You can repeat a top-up if you want a higher total balance.
What happens if a payment is taken but the balance is not added?
Contact us with the card number and the date of the attempt. We will check the request and help resolve it, including arranging a refund where a top-up did not complete.
Is it safe to enter card details?
Payments are handled over an encrypted connection. We do not store full card data on this site. See the Security page for details.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, where a top-up did not reach the card. See the Refunds page for how to request one and the timelines involved.
How do I contact support?
