These terms govern your use of busontop, an independent online top up bus card service for hafilat transit cards used on the public bus network in Abu Dhabi. By using this website you agree to them. busontop is operated by Busontop Online Services, a VAT-registered business in the UAE.

1. What busontop is

busontop provides a convenience service that lets you submit a request to top up the balance of a hafilat card online. We are an independent service. We are not the operator of the hafilat network and we do not issue, replace, or register hafilat cards.

2. Using the service

To start a bus card recharge you provide the 10-digit card number, the card category, and an amount between AED 5 and AED 500. You are responsible for entering the correct card number. We are not able to recover a top-up applied to a wrong number that you entered.

3. Amounts and currency

All amounts on this site are in UAE dirhams (AED). The amount you choose is the amount applied to the card balance, subject to successful payment.

4. Payment

Payments are accepted by Visa and Mastercard issued in the UAE. A request is only completed once payment is authorised. If payment is not authorised, no balance is added.

5. Processing time

Most top-ups are ready within a few minutes. The balance updates on the card the next time it is tapped at a bus reader. Processing time can vary at busy periods.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled as described on the Refunds page. In short, where a top-up did not reach the card, you may request a refund.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may decline or cancel a request we reasonably believe to be fraudulent.

8. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, busontop is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable UAE consumer law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
